TESTIMONIALS + MEDIA

Dermatologist Willeke Kamphof is currently the only dermatologist in the Netherlands who works with the FemiLift. “I discovered this device at a conference and was impressed by its simplicity and less invasive nature compared to surgical procedures. And it shows. In 80% of the women I have treated so far, the symptoms have disappeared. Due to the rejuvenation of the vaginal wall lining, women experience a firmer and less dry vagina after menopause. As a result, they no longer experience pain during intercourse.”

I was dreading the treatment (Femilift) for stress incontinence, but it turned out to be much better than I expected—hardly sensitive at all, and the doctor's approach was very reassuring. I've already had two treatments, and the results are very promising.

Geweldig. Fijne snelle oplossing.

Willeke is highly knowledgeable and friendly, providing thorough explanations and carrying out the treatment with great precision. She also took breaks whenever it became a bit painful. The entire treatment lasted about 15 minutes. The result is truly amazing after just one session. No more burning sensation after intercourse, increased lubrication, and an overall better feeling. I wish I had done it years ago. Recently had the second treatment, which was hardly painful at all. I am very satisfied.

Although the phone isn't always answered personally right away, you are always called back as soon as possible. The same goes for texting and emailing, as soon as possible. Clearly knowledgeable and exudes that confidence. Customer friendliness gets a 10; you always feel welcome. During the treatment, you are observed to see how it's going and if you're comfortable. They take your needs into consideration. A little chat for distraction also works. Top-notch. There's good explanation, and there's an opportunity to ask questions. The personal service is excellent; if you explain your personal/financial situation, they try to find a solution together. Various options are offered. In summary: Top!!! Highly recommended in every aspect. I hope you continue doing this for a long time, Willeke.

Due to urinary incontinence, I was advised to undergo surgery, which would have put me out of commission for 6 weeks. Why do none of the general practitioners know that you can also resolve this issue with 3 painless laser treatments?!!

Femilift for stress incontinence. Complaint-free after 3 treatments. Truly amazing! Didn't think that such a simple treatment could achieve such results.

Willeke offers a fair price for a Femilift treatment. I have now undergone a follow-up treatment, and after a long time, I can say that the Femilift has improved my incontinence to the extent that I (still) do not want surgery. I trust Femilift more than a synthetic sling in my body. I can't run, but daily activities are drier thanks to Femilift. The claim that the treatment is painless is not accurate (as claimed by the manufacturer). It also depends on the numbing spray you can request. This time there was too little time between applying the spray (also too superficially numbed this time) and the treatment. So, I experienced more pain than in previous sessions. It makes sense to take more time, allowing the anesthesia to work better.

Dealing with incontinence for 10 years, and now after 2 treatments, I no longer need pads for normal activities. Personally, it's a very positive breakthrough for me. I was very skeptical and cautious, but after extensive research (there is a lot of information on Femilift on American websites), I took the step and really wonder why this treatment is still relatively unknown. Several gynecologists saw no other solution for me than a TVT sling. (But I don't want a synthetic sling in my body, heard too many unpleasant stories about it) And the recovery is long after surgery. Soon, I will go for a 3rd treatment. Although coughing and sneezing are already 'dry,' I have to wait a few more weeks for the final results because improvement continues in the first weeks after the treatment. After the 1st treatment, it took 2 weeks before I really started to experience the first results. I am genuinely surprised by the impact and the result. I don't expect a 100% dry result, but my daily activities no longer result in urinary leakage. I can bend, make beds, lift grocery bags, make larger movements, and walk a bit faster, even do a bit of a jog to catch the train without losing urine (still not running). But hey, this has already been well worth it for me!! The treatment is manageable. Ask for some numbing cream, it helps!! Afterward, you may experience some discharge for a while (a week after the first time, a bit shorter after the second treatment). My incontinence was not mild; I had leakage during daily activities, not just during sports or coughing. Therefore, I had little hope. But for me, no surgery anymore!!

The treatment is manageable but not painless. Fortunately, it is a short procedure. Taking a painkiller beforehand is recommended. I had a good result after just one treatment!

I experienced the treatment by Willeke Kamphof as highly professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

I read about this treatment in the magazine Linda. I specifically underwent the treatment to improve the quality of my sex life. My vagina had become quite loose after the birth of my children. The treatment has had a significant impact for me. My vagina feels tighter, and I experience much more sensitivity during sex.

I am very satisfied with the Femilift treatment by Willeke Kamphof. After 2 sessions, urinary incontinence is gone, and I can jump without any leakage. Willeke is knowledgeable, and she knows how to make you relax; before you know it, it's done. The treatment is painless and highly recommended!

Willeke is friendly, honest, and to the point, excellent! The treatment meets expectations. It is definitely recommended!

Heavy feeling improved after just one session. Cycling and walking are much more enjoyable. I hope it's permanent.

Loes

Very customer-friendly, knowledgeable, and I could get an appointment quickly. The COVID-19 measures are well implemented in the practice.

How does such a treatment actually work?

The FemiLift is a CO2 laser, and lasers of this type provide the most powerful tissue stimulation in this category of lasers. The FemiLift generates concentrated heating of the vaginal wall, stimulating the production and contraction of connective tissue and elastin. This process results in tissue restoration and a literal rejuvenation of the cells in the vaginal wall. The ultimate outcome is an increase in thickness and tightening of the vaginal wall, leading to a reduction in stress incontinence. An additional benefit is the normalization of the pH level, contributing to improved hydration of the vagina.

The treatment protocol for FemiLift typically consists of three sessions with an interval of 4 to 6 weeks. The treatment can be performed on an outpatient basis, lasting approximately 15 minutes and causing minimal discomfort.

Can I be treated with FemiLift during my menstruation?

It is not advisable to undergo the treatment during your menstruation. The blood hinders the penetration of the FemiLift into the vaginal tissue, reducing the effectiveness of the treatment.

I have endometriosis. Can I still be treated?

In most cases, yes. If you experience intense deep pain in the pelvis during intercourse, the gynecologist may advise against it.

How long after childbirth should I wait before undergoing the FemiLift treatment?

After a vaginal birth, it is advisable to wait for 3 months to ensure that the vaginal tissue has naturally healed, and any scars from tears or episiotomy have had a chance to heal.

Can anything go wrong?

CO2 lasers have been in use for over 50 years and have demonstrated their safety and effectiveness in various applications, including dermatology and gynecology. A similar laser technique is used on the face for rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction. Only an experienced physician should perform the FemiLift treatment. Additionally, the laser output is limited, making it impossible to damage tissue unintentionally.
