Our Mission

TESTIMONIALS + MEDIA
Dermatologist Willeke Kamphof is currently the only dermatologist in the Netherlands who works with the FemiLift. “I discovered this device at a conference and was impressed by its simplicity and less invasive nature compared to surgical procedures. And it shows. In 80% of the women I have treated so far, the symptoms have disappeared. Due to the rejuvenation of the vaginal wall lining, women experience a firmer and less dry vagina after menopause. As a result, they no longer experience pain during intercourse.”

How does such a treatment actually work?
The FemiLift is a CO2 laser, and lasers of this type provide the most powerful tissue stimulation in this category of lasers. The FemiLift generates concentrated heating of the vaginal wall, stimulating the production and contraction of connective tissue and elastin. This process results in tissue restoration and a literal rejuvenation of the cells in the vaginal wall. The ultimate outcome is an increase in thickness and tightening of the vaginal wall, leading to a reduction in stress incontinence. An additional benefit is the normalization of the pH level, contributing to improved hydration of the vagina.
The treatment protocol for FemiLift typically consists of three sessions with an interval of 4 to 6 weeks. The treatment can be performed on an outpatient basis, lasting approximately 15 minutes and causing minimal discomfort.
Can I be treated with FemiLift during my menstruation?
It is not advisable to undergo the treatment during your menstruation. The blood hinders the penetration of the FemiLift into the vaginal tissue, reducing the effectiveness of the treatment.
I have endometriosis. Can I still be treated?
In most cases, yes. If you experience intense deep pain in the pelvis during intercourse, the gynecologist may advise against it.
How long after childbirth should I wait before undergoing the FemiLift treatment?
After a vaginal birth, it is advisable to wait for 3 months to ensure that the vaginal tissue has naturally healed, and any scars from tears or episiotomy have had a chance to heal.
Can anything go wrong?
CO2 lasers have been in use for over 50 years and have demonstrated their safety and effectiveness in various applications, including dermatology and gynecology. A similar laser technique is used on the face for rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction. Only an experienced physician should perform the FemiLift treatment. Additionally, the laser output is limited, making it impossible to damage tissue unintentionally.
